Nursery Technician AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION:
Reports directly to the Nursery Manager May also take direction from the Director of Operations, Cultivation & Systems Manager and/or a Team Lead JOB DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining the quality of all manufactured products Maintain a clean and organized work environment Ensure that clones are ready for transplant Move clones from clone room to flower room on the day of transplant Maintain a clean and organized work environment Day-to-day plant maintenance including pruning and trellising Keep veg, flower, and dry rooms immaculate and fully operational.
Sweep & mop floors Remove all leaves from trays Remove and log waste at the end of each day Track and record all plant data as directed Transplant plants Take part in overall facility cleanliness Making cuts during cloning process Ensure that each tray of cuts is properly labeled and accounted for Help with keeping an updated layout of the Mom room Clean and charge lifts Report leaks and faulty equipment Take part in overall facility cleanliness Other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Great interpersonal/communication skills Detail-oriented Have genuine and positive energy Great work ethic, reliability, and professionalism Excellent listening skills Cannabis knowledge preferred Knowledge of Plumbing and Electrical a plus ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 21 years of age.
Possess valid driver's license or state ID.
Must pass all required background checks.
Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends.
Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
Frequently moves up to 30
pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance).
This job function may include being in a stationary position, or moving for extended periods of time.
