Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Schedule and confirm patient appointments using eClinicalWorks or similar software - Maintain patient records and update medical information accurately - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner - Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary co-pays or payments - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on test results - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area Requirements:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical record softare - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information - Familiarity with office equipment such as computers, printers, and scanners Job Type:
