Commercial Credit Team Leader

Rockland Trust iscurrently seeking a Credit Team Leader to join our Somerset Credit AnalysisGroup.
The Commercial Credit Team Leader provides senior level credit analysis support, manages analysis request workflow of oneto two regional lending centers while supervising supporting analysts in theCredit Department. Duties will include analysis of the Banks' mostcomplex relationships, as well as reviewing team analyst analyses and providingguidance to team analysts on policy, procedures, and analysis issues. TheTeam Leader will be responsible for approval of all team analysis within theexposure limits allowed by loan policy. The Team Leader will have up to twodirect reports which they will be responsible for regular HR and personnelmanagement with the assistance of the Commercial Credit Manager includinginterviewing when open positions exist, training and development, annualperformance reviews, time cards and vacation tracking, and coaching.
Lends analysis andsupervisory support to the manager of the credit department by:
Providing senior level analysis of most complex relationships inthe bank, which will involve communication with lending center personnel toensure information is available to complete the analysis in an accurate,concise, thorough manner with a full risk assessment.
Maintaining a high level of expertise in both C&I and CREborrower analysis, through continued training.
Demonstrating the ability to navigate and formulate independentcredit analysis recommendations through analysis of borrower financials,projections, leases, construction budgets, sensitizing proforma analysis, legaldocumentation, appraisals, enterprise value reports, asset basedreports/audits, and any other required information.
Coordinating with Credit Manager to utilize team resources tomeet the analysis needs of one to two commercial lending regions, and assesswhen overflow assistance is needed in the event region demand exceeds currentteam capacity.
Providing supervision and personnel management of two directreports, including interviewing when open positions exist, training anddevelopment, annual performance reviews, time cards and vacation tracking, andcoaching.
Reviewing and providing guidance for direct reports to ensurecredit analysis documents reflect accuracy, consistency with bank policy, andsound credit recommendations related to the risk assessment. Providingguidance on policies, procedures, and asisting in review of external documentsidentified above as needed.
Propose and approve analysis with independent creditrecommendations based on relationship exposure allowed by policy on all teamanalysis.
Rendering assistance to lending officers and portfolio managersin assigned commercial lending regions on credit matters and loan structureinvolving unusual situations or requiring close scrutiny. Providingguidance on structure, risks and policy.
Required Skills:
Superior analytical skills and oral/written communication skills
Previous management experience preferred
Ability to multi-task production and management functions
Computer Skills, with strong working knowledge of Outlook,Microsoft Word, Excel, and Horizon
Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships
Required Experience:
Bachelors' Degree required, Masters Degree preferred
Minimum 5 years experience in a Commercial Lending area of aCommercial Bank, preferably as a senior credit analyst or portfolio manager.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
