Van Drivers

Somerset Berkley Regional School District and Somerset Public Schools is seeking reliable and safe part-time substitute van drivers in the Southeastern Massachusetts/Rhode Island area to transport students with disabilities from their homes to the schools they attend.

The schedule may change with student need. The schedule is a split shift of morning, mid-day and/or afternoon hours depending on student schedule. Majority of work schedule will be 1.75 hours in the morning and 1.75 hours in the afternoon, Monday through Friday. Summer work is required, depending on student needs. Applicant is required to attend school sponsored Crisis Prevention Intervention training's in the event of student restraint, and any other trainings as required by the Somerset Berkley Regional School District and Somerset Public Schools.

Job Summary: Applicants must pass a drug screening check, a CORI background check and federal fingerprinting requirement, at their own expense.

Qualifications: All Applicants must have a current Massachusetts Driver’s License, as well as a 7D license for student transportation, and a high school diploma. Applicants must pass a drug screening check, a CORI background check and federal fingerprinting requirement, at their own expense.

Salary: $15-$19 per hour depending on prior work experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
